A trust machine for the real world

A real human did this. A real human received that.

The internet has lost the ability to tell what’s real. Wavipod is a network of verified homes — and the real people in them — with a small device that can prove, beyond doubt, that something was really done by a real person who chose to take part. Not a bot. Not a script. A person.

the trust device signs every proof

How it works — one device, one proof engine

01

Verified people

Real people opt in, verify their identity, and consent to every contribution. One verified human per home — no bot farms, no fake accounts.

02

A trusted device

A small device at the edge of your home holds a hardware-bound key. It’s the root of trust for everything your household attests.

03

Proof that can’t be faked

Every contribution is signed and committed to a tamper-evident ledger. Anyone can verify it — without having to trust Wavipod.

Under the hood

Proof you don’t have to take on faith.

A hardware root-of-trust, signed attestations, and cryptographic settlement — built on proven cryptography, put to a new job. Verifiable by anyone — you never have to take our word for it.

Hardware-bound keys

Each device signs with an Ed25519 key that never leaves it. A datacenter can’t impersonate thousands of homes, because it doesn’t hold their keys.

Tamper-evident by design

Every proof is committed to a SHA-256 Merkle tree. Alter one thing after the fact and the whole record breaks — instantly, and visibly.

Verify without trusting us

Anyone can check a proof against the committed record — no need to take Wavipod’s word for anything. Independence is the product, not a promise.

Real identity, one per home

Identity verification and one-verified-human-per-home stop bot farms at the door — so a signed contribution means a real, specific person. No bots.

Rewards, not speculation

Paid in real money. No token required.

You contribute only your own data and measurements — explicitly, and only when you say so. You’re paid in ordinary money (or a stablecoin, if you prefer) for verified work.

Nothing to buy, hold, or gamble on.

01

Opt in and verify

Set up the device, verify you’re a real person, and you’re part of the network. One verified human per home.

02

Contribute on your terms

Only your own data, only with consent, always revocable. No third-party traffic ever passes through your home.

03

Get paid per verified contribution

Every payout is tied to a signed proof, so you can check you were paid correctly for exactly the work you did.

04

Auditable settlement

The settlement record can be published for anyone to audit. No mystery maths, and no network growth you have to bet on.

Two proofs, one machine

One device answers two questions.

Every real interaction has two ends: someone does something, and someone receives something. Wavipod proves both — with the same device, the same app, the same proof engine.

Proof of Human — “did this

Certified, provenance-attested human data for a world drowning in AI-generated content — for AI labs, RLHF teams, and research panels who can no longer tell a real person from a script. Each datum carries a signed manifest: verified human, attested device, timestamp, inclusion proof.

Proof of Delivery — “received that”

Independent, tamper-evident proof that publicly funded broadband delivers what was promised. For the auditors and regulators behind BEAD ($42.45B in the US) and Project Gigabit (£5B in the UK) — where today the measured party still controls the measurement.

Small is the moat

Value is priced on proof quality, not volume. A few hundred certified responses can reveal contamination hiding in a 20,000-row dataset. A handful of verified homes is a credible pilot, not a handicap.

Built for the rules coming next

From August 2026, the EU AI Act requires documented provenance and consent for training data. Wavipod produces exactly those artefacts — turning compliance from a hazard into part of the product.

Two halves of one idea: a real human did this, and a real human received that.

Consent-first, by design

Your data. Your name on it. Your call.

No third-party traffic ever transits your home. You contribute only your own data and measurements — explicitly, and revocably. Because every proof is keyed to a known, consenting person, deletion is clean and provenance is built in.

Opt-in and revocable, with clear consent receipts
No third-party traffic through your line, ever
Data protection by design — named, minimised, deletable
Aligned with the EU AI Act (from Aug 2026)

Field notes

Why authenticity became scarce.

Short reads on the trust problem Wavipod exists to solve — no cryptography degree required.

Explainer

The internet can’t tell what’s real anymore

Read the note
Generative AI floods the web with synthetic text and imagery, and bots contaminate the survey panels and ad networks that markets are built on — flagged-response rates on some platforms exceed 70%. As authenticity gets rarer, the ability to prove it gets valuable.
Proof of Human

Why a biometric check isn’t enough

Read the note
Proving that a human exists is easy. Proving that this stream of contributions came from that consented person, over time, on trusted hardware — that’s the datum a bot farm can’t manufacture. It needs an always-on device in a known, consented home.
Proof of Delivery

When the measured party controls the measurement

Read the note
Publicly funded broadband is largely verified by self-report from the very providers being funded — and the established measurement incumbents are integrated with them. An independent, tamper-proof meter in a real home is exactly what auditors lack.

Questions, answered

A few things you might be wondering.

Is Wavipod an internet provider?
No. Wavipod is a trust network. A small device in verified homes produces cryptographic proofs of authenticity — it doesn’t sell you broadband, and it works alongside your existing connection.
What does the device actually do?
It signs your consented contributions with a key bound to the hardware, and commits them to a tamper-evident record. That’s what turns “a number in a database” into dispute-grade proof anyone can verify.
Is my data or traffic shared with anyone?
No third-party traffic ever passes through your home. You contribute only your own data and measurements, only with consent, and you can revoke at any time.
How am I paid?
In ordinary money — or a stablecoin if you prefer — for verified work. There’s no token to buy, hold, or speculate on, which also keeps it simple for enterprise and public-sector buyers.
What is Proof of Human?
Certified, provenance-attested human data — for AI labs and researchers who need to prove their data came from real, consented people rather than bots or AI ghostwriters.
What is Proof of Delivery?
Independent, tamper-evident verification that publicly funded broadband delivers the speed, latency, and reliability that was promised — sold to auditors, regulators, and ISPs as attestation-as-a-service.
